How Do We Deliver Superior Precision Tube?
Precision Steel Tube is manufactured on site at Industrial Tube, Hamilton. As the manufacturer this provides us with the opportunity to set a standard for quality that often exceeds industry standards, and enables us to provide customers with far more than a length of tube.
Our production process offers:
- A wide range of solutions that provides our customers with finished precision components, sub-assemblies or completed products. For example taking a customers CAD design, we can create the component utilising our services such as 3D tube laser cutting, CNC drilling, precision deburring, swaging and tapering.

- Production Efficiency: Minimising scrap and downtime in automated processing.
- Design Flexibility: Industry-leading elongation for outstanding formability and design flexibility. Our manufacturing process is tightly controlled, offering customisable internal weld bead and position options to meet specific customer requirements.
- Short Lead Times: We keep a range of raw material and finished goods enabling just-in-time stock holding for our valued customers
The process starts with in-house precision slitting and edge preparation, which provides exceptional weld integrity. Using high-frequency induction welding we then produce cold-formed, longitudinally welded tube. Pre-galvanised tube is zinc-sprayed along the weld zone, ensuring durability, if required. Finally, the precision tube is sized, profiled (square, rectangular and oval), quality checked, cut to length and bundled ready for additional customised processing.
